Zoological Museum

This museum is filled with stuffed animals of all kinds. Thousands of stuffed creatures are here! From a small cute birdie to a fierce polar bear. The collection is really huge. And of course the famous mammoth is here! A real mammoth baby found in the ice in a good condition. There is also a plenty of dinosaur bones, dolphin and whale maquettes, insects and so on. If you love biology and are interested in nature you should definitely see this. Surely a thing to see, especially with your kids (if you have some)!

P. S. They don’t stuff poor little creatures anymore so no animals were hurt for tens of years.

Animals of all kinds

From the tiniest bug to a blue whale skeleton. Looks like they have all creatures on Earth here (wich is definitely not true, but you really start thinking so in an hour or something).

A famous mammoth

Until the second well-preserved mammoth was found, this was the only whole mammoth body on Earth. There are lots of sceletons and rotten bodies, but the full frosen fresh body is a rear thing. Well, frankly speaking, it looks just like a small dead elephant (and in fact it is). It doesn’t look like it is dead for thousands of years, but looks like it is dead for a couple of weeks probably 😉

Must see for biology and nature lovers

This is a speciality museum so if you hate other lifeforms you probably won’t be interested. You can also order an excursion in English for extra $40-80 depending on the group size.
