Well, this is definitely the most famous russian cuisine restraunt in the city named after F. M. Dostoevsky’s novel. Atmosphere is fantastic, staff is friendly, food is great. Nearly no Russians can be found here (we have a plenty of russian cuisine at home and rearly visit russian restraunts). The nice thing is that they bring you complementary shots of vodka. Lots of people enjoy it so it has mostly excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. And the reason is that ‘The Idiot’ is really a nice place!

Friendly amosphere

You will love this place as you walk in. Everything is somehow friendly here. But the trouble is it is dark and we failed all our photos. So here are the best pics we could find in the Internet.

Great cuisine

Everything they cook is really great! But portions are rather small (and this is the only minus).

Complementary shots of vodka

They give a lot of complementary shots of good vodka (here in Russia we drink vodka of shot glasses and have a snack right away, probably a lemon, a pickle or just a piece of the dish we eat at the moment). Don’t get too drunk at your lunch!
