This is a music club with an underground atmosphere. The music is usually awesome, the most famous Russian DJs play here. But don’t be in a wonder to see DJs from Australia or UK: they often invite some serious guys from abroad. However everything depends on a DJ here: sometimes parties suck due to shitty DJ playing that day. The interior is 100% underground, the most impressive thing here is acoustics that is really great. This is one of the best clubs in town and the facecontrol is strict here. They are kind of a ‘secret’ place: they do no ads and they don’t even have a sign on their door so it is quite hard to find. So at the day this review is written thay have no TripAdvisor page or reviews. Read a bit more about that below.

Great sound and music

This place has great acoustics and this is probably the most famous club in the city now. They invite cool DJs from Russia and from abroad so the music is usually really great.

Facecontrol

Facecontrol is incredibly strict here, but don’t worry, they most likely will let you in if you are not drunk and well dressed. This is the reason why there are plenties of pretty ladies and handsome guys inside. People are dancing hard, the atmosphere is fantastic! Most visitors are at the age of 24-30. The entrance is free.

Secret underground place

This is a popular but still a bit ‘secret’ place. It has no banner or sign even on it’s door, you just have to know where it is to get to it. Not sure about other countries and cities but here in St. Petersburg best clubs are always a bit secret: this attracts people. You can find their facebook group or a review in popular night life blog, but you can’t ever find their promoters or ads. So this place is some kind of a ‘friends only’ and ‘truely underground’ (wich is not true in fact, but definitely adds something to the atmosphere).

Good at weekend night

This is 100% night club, coming here before 1 am might be boring. There is no parties at weekdays here (but you still check their schedule using a black button above, maybe things change in summer).

Hard to find

Please see the small map picture. Just come to Konyushennaya square, find a pass where people are going and follow the crowd into the arch. Don’t worry much about surrounding area, it looks ruined a little. Go forward from the arch and turn right after it, don’t go a single meter forward. You will face a brown door with no sign on it in 5 meters or something. Don’t mess it up, the door to the right (a club with windows) is another club, not Stackenschneider but VNVNC club. So after the arch you turn to right and go forward until you are right near the door. Remember it! There is a picture above with people standing, the entrance door is right behind them. There is a balcony above the door you need.
