A network of 3 bars (1 bar is about to open in Prague, Czech republic). They are located in Ligovsky 50, Rubinsteina and Dumskaya bar streets. They sing rock songs here! From Beatles to Guano Apes, from Prodigy to System of a Down. This place is full of fun as the drinks are cheap. Poison bars on Dumskaya and Rubinsteina are packed even on weekdays. The guards are rude and really big so don’t ask too much questions if they don’t let you in! Like all bars on Dumskaya, Poison on Dumskaya street is the dirtiest and the cheapest. Poison on Rubinsteina street is cleaner and a bit more expensive. Ligovsky 50 bar is something in the middle (plus you probably can smoke in this bar so avoid it if you’re non-smoker). As soon as people sing songs in English here be sure every visitor speaks English at least a little bit.

Free karaoke

Hundreds of rock songs. Sing them for free! Take a paper and a pen, write down the song’s name and bring it to a DJ. Wait for him or her to call you. Then sing! When bar is packed you can wait for your song for several hours so you may try to bribe a DJ with 2-4 hundreds of rubles 🙂 Try not to get caught, other visitors will hate that. Come to sing earlier or on weekdays to be sure you don’t wait too much.

No food, drinks only

You can’t even get peanuts here. All you can have is a piece of lemon or lime. But the drinks are strong and nice. Poison on Rubinsteina street offers a large amount of cocktails, whiskeys, etc. Other bars have smaller amount of drinks but still you won’t be thirsty.

Packed even on weekdays

All bars are small and packed with people sometimes even on weekdays (especially in summer, especially Dumskaya street bar). Don’t even hope to take a seat! Drink and party! And don’t come before 11 in the evening (after midnight is better).
