Lomonosov club

Well, people, you will love it or hate it. This is 100% Russian club. And it is the funniest party around! The most beatiful girls and the most dangerous (but at first sight mostly) boys are there. This place is like clubs were here 10 or 12 years ago when we were young and only started to party. You can probably find something in common with Coyote Ugly clubs. There are 3 floors. First one is Russian karaoke. Second and third have bars and dancefloors. People come here mostly to pick up someone or to get completely fucked up! So you are welcome here if you don’t want to sleep alone or refuse to stay sober. This place is not looking safe at all because of this mess inside but who cares when ladies (visitors) dance on special pylons they have there… Welcome to probably hardest party on Dumskaya!

Those difficult words mean 'spices and cheers' in Russian. This place is famous for awesome cuisine of ex-USSR republics. Delicious Georgian cuisine is waiting for you along with some Russian and European dishes. Another good thing about this restraunt is a combination of good location and some good wines. That's why this place is popular within beatiful ladies and handsome gentlemen at night. Not so good for picking somebody up though, but quite good just to see pretty Russians in their natural habitat while having a late night snack 🙂 Well, the Tripadvisor ratings also say this place is great: it is #2 among Saint Pete's restraunts.

¡Hola! Who wants some tacos while drinking around Zhukovskogo street? Who is so hungry? You? Well, you can have nice tacos here! Open up to 3 am. Tacos are good. We haven’t been to Mexico or south of US so we didn’t try a true and perfect taco to compare with, but their tacos are pretty tasty. Most Russians hate spicy food so tacos here sometimes are not as spicy as you probably expect (but this is fixed easily if you ask). Interiors are simple, but good enough for a fast food. This place is new and it has no TripAdvisor page yet so please check it out on Foursquare. Oh, we forgot to mention the fact they have a nice bar!

A small Serbian cafe on Ligovsky 50 offers you a wonderful dish you definitely should try: pljeskavitsa. Pljescavitsa is an extremely big beef cutlet with special spices and always served with special sauces. In ‘Ukusno’ they put it in a bun with vegetables – and here comes a wonderful Serbian burger. Taste some southern slavic cuisine without moving to Serbia or Montenegro!

Palace square

Palace square (aka Dvortsovaya square) is the best known square of the city, we can definitely call it the main square in St Pete. It is located between the Hermitage museum and a beatiful building of the General Staff. An Alexander Column is there, it is a great sight you should definitely see. This place is good just to walk around and take some pictures, there is completely no any entertainment except for probably the most expensive souvenirs in town. So treat this place like a beatiful landmark. But you definitely should find at least a couple of minutes to take a quick look onto the city’s main square. Nevskiy prospect is in a hundered meters via the General Staff arch, Admiralcy building and St. Isaac’s cathedral are also in a stonethrow from here.

If you are interested in USSR history you probably know that the revolution started with this ship’s firing. The ship itself is interesting: it is quite unusual to see the real World War I combat ship. It is a working museum too: you can get into every corner of this grandfather of modern ships. It is so interesting how this thing works and how do sailors live in such a tiny ship which actually was one of the biggest in it’s time. A good thing to see if you love history, arms and technology!
The ship was away for repairments until 16 July 2016. Welcome there now!
