Rated 3.50 out of 5 based on 2 customer ratings

$9

A new private museum (est. 2013) containing the impressive collection of jewelery made by Karl Gustav Faberge company in the end of XIX – beginning of the XX centuries. 9 of the famous Faberge eggs are here. And about 4000 other jewelery items, not only those eggs. The collection is really impressive, this is one of the museums locals don’t know very much as it is new. It is located in Shuvalov’s palace so it is definitely worth visiting even if you hate jewellery: interiors are shockingly rich and glamorous.

Famous eggs

Royal Romanov family ordered those eggs as an Easter present for kids. Rich people of the time fancied that idea so jewelery eggs by Faberge company became incredibly popular. And they are still popular we say! Faberge egg is probably the most famous jewellery item recognized by most people on Earth!

Great interiors

Interiors are another reason to visit this place. They are really nice: it is a palace of Shuvalov’s family, a house of an incredibly rich noble people of the XIX century.
