    Bar 812

‘812’ are St. Petersburg’s phone numbers first digits. But this bar has nothing in common with a phone. This is probably the hardest party on Zhukovskogo street. Be sure you have a great time here whenever you come beacause in the evening there is a pre-party and at night it is still packed and fun to stay in. They specialize on cocktails so you won’t buy a beer here most probably. It is also a bit more expensive than average, but definitely worth every ruble you spend here! DJ is playing all night long so the party never ends!

    Schastye Bar & Restaurant

Schastye is an incredibly popular restraunt that has already 3 spots in the city centre (4 in total). Some great Russian and European dishes are cooked here and the choice is really good. The place is really cozy and a bit romantic, interiors are great and it is so damn nice to relax and enjoy your meal here! It is a bit cheaper than most famous restraunts here but it is worth every cent you spend. You won't be disappointed by this place!

    Chainy dom

Chainy dom is a place for tea and hookah lovers. A biggest collection of teas is here. Geura and Frida cafes have a wide selection of coffee. Vegetarian cuisine and some eastern styled cocktails are served here. And every Chainy dom has a great hookah you definitely should try! It is great even though tobacco hookahs are forbidden in Russian cafes (you can buy it in the shop but can’t get it in a restraunt or elswhere except your home). So they make only nicotine-free hookahs here. There are 6 cafes in town, 3 of them are on Rubinsteina street. Some cafes have different names (Frida, Teura, Kashmir) but it is still Chainy dom company places!

Do you like cider? Here they have about 100 sorts of cider from all around the world! The place is super popular! On weekend evenings you can’t usually take a seat. Live music plays on weekend evenings (but thank God it is not loud). So the best time is early weekend evening or weekday: they play classic hard rock on a turntable and there is no such a crowd of people. But damn those troubles, the cider compensates any inconvenience! Prices are not so high actually. The service is surprisingly quick and food is surprisingly nice (whatever we tried it was fantastic, a well-known local chef works here so we mark this place to be a restraunt as well). We love this place so don’t be in a wonder if you see some of our editors here during the summer.

    Tipplers

This place has some really, really unusual cocktails. All of them are great! Bartenders are ready for experiments so if they offer you a martini infused with shiitake mushroom – you’d better not refuse as they don’t give you a shit! The only trouble is that ‘Tipplers’ are small and rather busy at weekend night. So you may wait long as they really make very complicated cocktails.

    Bureau Burgers and Bar

An extremely popular place with great burgers. It is so popular they opened two more bars (far from the city centre though). You build your own burger here by choosing options! Don’t forget the drinks, they make great cocktails here. And they also have beer and wine.

    Brixton

This place is surprisingly cozy and even luxurious. It’s a pity pictures can’t show you the real atmosphere… Well, Brixton is a nice restraunt with quite affordable prices for most positions of the menu. At weekends they have a DJ playing, but this is not a bar so the music is not loud at all. The best thing (however in restraunts) is food: they have asian and european dishes including even some english positions. If you are ready to kill for fish and chips after a week in St. Pete – you definitely should come here and calm yourself down with it. Don’t forget they’ve got a good bartender who mixes great cocktails and pours you good beers and wines here.

    Pinch! tapas and wine

Pinch is a wine bar with Spanish cuisine. The thing they specialize at is tapas. And those tapas are simple but gorgeous. The place itself resembles Geograifya bar at Rubinsteina street so it is cozy, half-open and full of nice people (thanks to wine it is filled with beautiful ladies). Atmosphere is great, you will love this place not only for wine and tapas, but for location and interiors too! The Pinch bar opened at spring 2016, they don’t have a Tripadvisor page yet so check it out on Foursquare please.

    Hamlet+Jacks

Surprisingly the best restraunts of our city are not always restraunts. This wine bar is just like this. Wonderful food here is accompanied mostly German, Austrian, Slovenian and Russian wines. The menu is not big but extremely unusual. What about spruce ice cream? Or stewed rabbit with buckwheat lasagne sheets? They also have open kitchen so you can see chef at work. Interiors are great and location is awesome. You will love this place for sure.

    Apotheke bar

Probably the only quiet place on noisy Dumskaya street. A nice bar that is said to have delicious cocktails. Well, we say it is truth: cocktails we got were great! Both in quality and price. So if you want some relax and good cocktails after Dumskaya noise and trash – you can come here and enjoy it. Just a nice and relaxing place in this crowd, what can be better?
