Well, you probably heard that Russians drink a lot of vodka. This is definitly a lie: we drink a lot, but vodka is not the most popular drink here. We love all kinds of drinks and this is the reason we have hundreds of bars around the city. Cheap and pricy bars, boring and full of fun bars, big and small (well, mostly small though) bars, bars at the ground floor and bars with a rooftop view… We have any bar you need here in Saint Pete do satisfy you. And the list we have here right now is enough to party up for months and not get bored. A small bar with hebrew cuisine styled like a street bar in Israel. A very popular new place in our city. Always full of people so don’t even hope to sit down on weekends! People just stand there and drink or eat delicious kebabs. Drinks are great and cuisine is awesome! The atmosphere is great, people are having lots of fun there. Bekitser is good both in the evening and at night: people party there up to 3 o’clock at night or something.There is no dancefloor but there is some dancing sometimes! A lovely place!

O’Hooligans is an irish pub visited mostly by younger people, both by ladies and gentlemen (unlike other pubs which are occupied mostly by middle-aged men). There are three pubs in the city, two of them are in the city center. A good choice of beers and cider, lots of cocktails, shots and some loud music – what else do you need for a great evening? The cuisine is simple but tasty and steaks are really good. The pub is really packed at weekend nights from 8 pm till midnight so you’d better reserve a table or wait a little bit (please ask a waiter to notify you if someone leaves). On weekends there is some live music so don’t go there if you plan to chat a lot. The atmosphere is great, this is another place where people smile a lot! It’s also #21 in Tripadvisor list of restraunts in the city and has a Certificate of Excellence. So now just shut up and add it to your wishlist 🙂

The best cocktail bar on Rubinshteina street. A great choice of different cocktails and professional bartenders will make your evening delightful! Local people usualy come here to drink some shots and leave as soon as they finish so Tsvetochki bar is always packed on weekends and ordering something is a challenge sometimes. So if you walk down Rubinshteina street – come in and get some shots! That’s the true purpose of this bar! By the way, they have a huge list of non-alcoholic cocktails.

Daiquiri bars is probably the most popular cocktail bar in the city. Perfect cocktails, nicest atmosphere. It is popular both among locals and tourists. If you see a ‘DAIQUIRI’ sign somewhere – come in right away! It’s a great place for a pre-party or just for a long drink after a hard day in the city. The bar’s slogan is “Reality is a hallucination caused by lack of alcohol” 😉

That’s why this place is incredibly great to start your evening. The atmosphere is great as well: no one ever gets bored at Geografiya!

'Svoi' means 'people you know well' or even 'bros' in russian. And it is a great bar with perfect drinks. They specialize on wines and beers. And they even make awesome wine cocktails you should definitely try! 'Svoi' is a nice neat bar with tasty food and a lot of people in every evening. The atmosphere is great, staff is friendly, food is tasty, music performed by DJs is not so loud and really great. Well, there is nothing to add to description except a good advice: try to find some time to visit this place. Because it is really, really wonderful.

A cozy place famous mostly for a good choice of alcohol, great food and nice atmosthere. This place is cozy and it is never so crowded like bars around so probably you will love this gastrobar. The biggest surprise is a serious level of cooking skill those guys have: food is probably the best at Zhukovskogo and definitely one of the best in the city. It is great both for pre-party and for dinners. Welcome!

Arka is a nice neat bar with awesome music and great cocktails. An atmosphere here is very friendly: people who seat at the bar usually talk to each other (this is not so usual in Russia, our culture is like ‘we don’t talk to strangers a lot unless we really like them’). But if you want to relax a bit you can take the seat at the table. There is a DJ playing some relaxing lounge music. The cuisine is worth tasting and the bar is definitely worth tasting because they have a rather big list of unusual cocktails. So if you like good drinks, friendly people and nice music – you are welcome to Arka. You’ll never regret you came here even though it is a bit pricy.

A nice, big and modern pub with finest craft beer. Located on Rubinshteyna street among other 50+ bars and restraunts. Interiors are designed in glam-punk style (100% worth seeing). Some nice food, nearly a hundered types of craft beer and a DJ playing some nice lounge/trance etc. A perfect place to start an awesome pub crawl!

A network of 3 bars (1 bar is about to open in Prague, Czech republic). They are located in Ligovsky 50, Rubinsteina and Dumskaya bar streets. They sing rock songs here! From Beatles to Guano Apes, from Prodigy to System of a Down. This place is full of fun as the drinks are cheap. Poison bars on Dumskaya and Rubinsteina are packed even on weekdays. The guards are rude and really big so don’t ask too much questions if they don’t let you in! Like all bars on Dumskaya, Poison on Dumskaya street is the dirtiest and the cheapest. Poison on Rubinsteina street is cleaner and a bit more expensive. Ligovsky 50 bar is something in the middle (plus you probably can smoke in this bar so avoid it if you’re non-smoker). As soon as people sing songs in English here be sure every visitor speaks English at least a little bit.

A nice and clean place on Zhukovskogo street. Great food, great drinks (a large collection of whiskeys, rums and wines). Good service, smiley staff, nice DJ music on weekend nights. Bartenders are ready to make any cocktail you want. Just another perfect place to visit! Best for late dinners or early night drinks, some fun available later at night too.

Killfish is a network of bars in St. Petersburg, Moscow and other cities. Probably cheapest bars in the town with a beer (nice draft made by Killfish company) starting from about a dollar! Nice sushi, terrible food and strong drinks wait for you. Cocktails are primitive, but deadly strong! Extreme cocktails available (for example, they put a helmet on your head, give you some burning absinth and champagne and then hit your head slightly with a baseball bat). Some rock music is playing, stupid Adult Swim cartoons are on the screens, the lights are not so bright, young people are drinking, it is loud and somehow really great! Even poor interiors and cheap menus don’t spoil the feeling you’re in a nice place. The only real drawback is cards: you need a special card for payments (take some document and a cellphone with you, they are required). You get about +30% to the prices if you don’t have a card. Sometimes you may have problems with guards (they work mostly on weekend evenings), but this is not likely unless you come there drunk like hell and naked. This is a great choice to get absolutely shitfaced for a couple of dollars! All bars close at 2 am so you can’t stay until the morning, but be sure to have a pre-party here if you are not afraid of a bit trashy places.
