Bar streets
Showing 1–12 of 53 results
We have 2 true bar streets in the city: Dumskaya street and Rubinsteina street. Dumskaya is a trashy place where everyone is fucked up and dancing. Soooo much fun but pretty dangerous (brawls occur there sometimes). Rubinsteina street is safe and glamourous, it is occupied by nice restraunts and bars, but there are nearly no clubs. Three remaining streets are just becoming popular. They are more likely to be just regions full of bars more than true bar streets. Konyushennaya street region is full of bars, but is not a bar street. Just a big area where there are some nice bars and probably best clubs in town. They are not wall-to-wall so this is not a true bar street. The same is Zhukovskogo-Belinskogo region: there are 2 streets with lots of bars, but there are packs of shops, company offices and other stuff. Both Zhukovskogo-Belinskogo and Konyushennaya are great places where you can find nice bars and restraunts and even some clubs. Ligovsky 50 is a different story: this is a big old industrial park where there are 5 or 6 bars and clubs remaining. A year ago there were more, but now this street seems to be dying. It is the same level like Dumskaya: cheap and trashy, but fun though. All those regions are about a mile away from each other (2 miles from Ligovsky to Konyushennaya) so you don’t even need a taxi if you love walking. So welcome to Saint Petersburg! Party on bar streets and have fun!

UNION Bar & Grill
$20UNION Bar & Grill
‘Union’ is said to be a bar and grill, but in fact this is one of the best night clubs open now in our city. It has a great location and they really have a grill there (some awesome big burgers are cooked and eaten there). This is a great choice for a night party with friends. They have 2 bars inside: one with cocktails and one with craft beer and cider. A mansard for smoking is also there. This club is really popular so you should try it! It is at the end of Zhukovskogo street so you can plan a nice route through this street.

Mosaique night club
$30Mosaique night club
A truely underground techno club. Really, really true. A place of great quality. Deep sound, dark but spacy interior that reminds some kind of an underground tunnel. Music is really great here! Bar is big and buying something even on weekend night is not a problem. There is hardly any serious facecontrol, but the entrance is not free (about 3-5 dollars). That’s quite a good place, you should check it out if you are about to party in our city!

Stackenschneider night club
$40Stackenschneider night club
This is a music club with an underground atmosphere. The music is usually awesome, the most famous Russian DJs play here. But don’t be in a wonder to see DJs from Australia or UK: they often invite some serious guys from abroad. However everything depends on a DJ here: sometimes parties suck due to shitty DJ playing that day. The interior is 100% underground, the most impressive thing here is acoustics that is really great. This is one of the best clubs in town and the facecontrol is strict here. They are kind of a ‘secret’ place: they do no ads and they don’t even have a sign on their door so it is quite hard to find. So at the day this review is written thay have no TripAdvisor page or reviews. Read a bit more about that below.

VNVNC night club
$40VNVNC night club
This night club is next door to Stackenschneider and it is a great and wonderful place full of deep house music and partying people. The atmosphere is fantastic, the interiors remind a gothic church and the music performed by top russian DJs is really awesome. The club is very small so be sure it is completely packed at weekend nights – and this is where fun begins in St. Petersburg, we hate spacy clubs here! Entrance is free but they have a severe facecontrol so please smile and dress well. This is a truely awesome place so you’d better not miss it at weekend night!

Dom 7 Jazz Club
$30Dom 7 Jazz Club
Dom 7 is a jazz night club in the center of St. Petersburg. It is in a stonethrow from Savior on Spilt Blood, Konyushennaya square and Nevskiy prospect. Live jazz is played here by Russian and foreign bands. This place is best for short but satisfying visits on weekends (it is usually packed with visitors and you can’t get a seat). By the way, you can try it on weekdays, there is some music and some party on weekdays too. The party starts around 9 or 10 pm and finishes around 1-2 am so it is greatly combined with other Konyishennaya district clubs where people go late at night. This place is popular within people of 30+ years old, but some youngsters also come here. There is no facecontrol and the entrance is free. On weekdays it closes at midnight.

Rubinstein cafe
$30Rubinstein cafe
The sign says ‘Rubinstein cafe’, but it is not a cafe. They cook so well we call them a restraunt. And we are sure this place is a great restraunt, somewhy not so popular and not promoted – but definitely one of the best restraunts in the whole city. Delicious, really delicious food. The choice is not so big but this is not a problem. And the atmosphere is great, people are pleased and smily. Wonderful place!

Vinny Shkaf
$35Vinny Shkaf
‘Vinny shkaf’ is a ‘wine locker’ in Russian. You probably think it is a wine bar? Well, that’s partly true… But the other thing about this place is that it has a great cuisine. So we proudly call this place a restraunt. It has some really awesome and unusual dishes like lamb with cacao cuscus or duck leg with wild wheat garnish. Menu changes every season so it is often something new there. Yes, we nearly forgot the wine: they have a great list of wine!
