Saint Petersburg is known as a ‘cultural capital’ of Russia. It is a 5-million city, the most northern millionaire city in the world. Saint Petersburg was founded in 1703 and it’s centre still remains untouched. Barroque, empire style and classic architecture: the whole of our city’s centre is old and really, really glamorous. Nearly every house here is a masterpiece, a lot of buildings are under UNESCO patronage. The city is full of museums, theatres and cathedrals. A plenty of cozy cafes, bars and restraunts fill the city centre. On weekend nights streets are crowded with partying people. In the beginning of the summer we have ‘white nights’ phenomena: the dusk turns into dawn with no darkness in between.
The city hosts 2-3 million of foreign tourists every year. Don’t miss your chance to become one of them.
